Finding accessible parking in proximity to campus on gameday can be a nightmare if you’re unfamiliar with downtown Boone. Please follow the directions to each listed location below.

All patrons must present valid parking pass to parking lot attendant for validation, and keep pass displayed clearly on your dash at all times while in the lot. Violators will be towed at car owner’s risk and car owner is responsible for any and all costs.

If traveling into Boone from Mountain City, Tennessee, proceed on U.S. 421 South into the downtown area for 16 miles. Upon entering Boone, continue past Mellow Mushroom (on the right) and 116 W King Street will be on your immediate left.

In the High Country, all roads lead to Boone. If you have spent any time in the High Country, you understand that U.S. 321 is a primary road leading into the downtown area. Please allow extra time for your gameday commute as traffic will be noticeably denser. For motorists coming into Boone from the Lenoir Hickory, take U.S. 321 N/Blowing Rock Boulevard and continue for 23 miles. Upon the downtown approach, traffic will become congested, so vigilance is crucial to finding your appropriate parking lot. Once you pass the Circle K closest to the campus, take an immediate left onto W. King Street. The destination will be on the right.

Fans coming from the Piedmont and Charlotte areas will travel on U.S. 421 into the High Country. After passing the Walmart Supercenter in North Wilkesboro, continue on U.S. 421 North for 29 miles until you pass the Hardee’s in New Market. Your parking destination will be a short distance up the road on the right.
To access the 140 W. King Street parking lot from Tennessee, continue on U.S. 421 South from Mountain City into Boone for 24 miles. Just past the Earth Fare Market, turn left into the parking lot, before the signal.

If commuting from the Lenoir/Hickory area, continue on U.S. 321N/Blowing Rock Road for 23.7 miles. Turn left onto W. King St. (Hwy 421), then turn right immediately into the parking lot, just before Earth Fare Market.

For Triad and Charlotte area fans, U.S. 421 will be your primary thoroughfare. After passing the Walmart Supercenter in North Wilkesboro, continue on U.S. 421 for 29.1 additional miles. Go through the signal at Hardin/Councill St., then turn right immediately into the parking lot, just before Earth Fare Market.

To access the 178 W. King Street parking lot from Tennessee, continue on U.S. 421 South from Mountain City into Boone for 24 miles. At the Earth Fare Market, turn left into the parking lot and proceed to the right and rear of the market.

If commuting from the Lenoir/Hickory area, continue on U.S. 321N/Blowing Rock Road for 23.7 miles. Go through the signal at King St. (Hwy 421), then turn left immediately into the parking lot, adjacent to Earth Fare Market.

For Triad and Charlotte area fans, U.S. 421 will be your primary thoroughfare. After passing the Walmart Supercenter in North Wilkesboro, continue on U.S. 421 for 29.1 additional miles. Make a right turn at Councill St. (opposite Dan’l Boone Inn), then turn immediately left into the parking lot, adjacent to Earth Fare Market.
To access the 135 Hardin Street parking lot from Tennessee, continue on U.S. 421 South from Mountain City into Boone for 24 miles. Just past the Earth Fare on the left, turn right onto Hardin St., and the parking lot will be almost immediately on your left.

If commuting from the Lenoir/Hickory area, continue on U.S. 321N/Blowing Rock Road for 23.7 miles. Once past the Holmes Convocation Center on the left, your destination will be around the curve on the right, past the Red Onion Cafe.

For Triad and Charlotte area fans, U.S. 421 will be your primary thoroughfare. After passing the Walmart Supercenter in North Wilkesboro, continue on U.S. 421 for 29.1 additional miles. Turn left onto Hardin St. (at Dan’l Boone Inn), and the parking lot will be on your left.
